Two MLAs excluded from Assam NRC

Guwahati, Jul 30 (UNI) Two MLAs are among the over 40 lakh people in Assam whose did not appear in the final draft of National Register of Citizens for the state, which was published today.
The name of ruling BJP MLA of Morigaon, Ramakanta Deori, did not appear in the final draft.
Deori was quoted as stating by local media that he will not appeal for inclusion of his name as he was a son of the soil. The names of his family members have also reportedly not appeared in the final draft.
