Two labourers dead

Nanded, Sep 20 (UNI) Two laborers lost their lives when they fell into a sewage tank while removing dirt at around 11 pm on Sunday in Mukhed tehsil. The bodies of the laborers were taken out at 7 in the morning, today.
A sewage tank of a retired teacher at Ashok Nagar area ofMukhed town was faulty.A contract was given to clear the tank was given to a private person. For the purpose 5 laborers entered the tank to remove it. During the work at 11 pm Maroti Rama Chopwad (30) lost his balance and fell into the tank. In an attempt to take him out another labour Vyakanti Ghumalwad also lost balance and fell into the tank. Remaining three co-workers and a neighbor tried to save them but failed to do so. On getting information police inspector Vilas Gobade along with his staff reached the spot and the bodies were taken out. Acting on the information given by Maulaji Rama Adgulwar the Mukhed police filed a case of sudden death. Sub-Inspector Santosh Kendra is conducting further investigation.
