Two held in Delhi in major heroin trafficking cases linked to Mizoram

Aizawl, Nov 7 (UNI) Mizoram Police have arrested two key accused persons in connection with two major heroin trafficking cases, both linked to transnational drug networks operating between India and Myanmar.
Mizoram Police, in a statement on Friday, said that on November 4, a woman identified as Lalchhuanthangi (50), a resident of Khatla South, Aizawl, who had been living in New Delhi, was apprehended in the national capital by a team from Zokhawthar Police Station with the assistance of the Special Bureau and Delhi Police.
Lalchhuanthangi is alleged to be the main forward link and suspected kingpin in Zokhawthar Police Station Case No. 53/2025, registered on July 10 under the ND&PS Act and the Foreigners Act.
