Two held in cricket betting, Rs 4.70 lakh cash seized in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 26 (UNI) The city police has arrested two businessmen for indulging in cricket betting and seized cash of Rs 4.70 lakh from their possession in the city while the prime accused Suraj, residing at Surat (Gujarat) is absconding.

On a tip-off that, the accused persons are collecting huge betting amounts from punters in connection with the IPL Cricket match between RCB Vs Kings XI Punjab teams on Wednesday last , the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad apprehended the accused persons at Basheerbagh in the city while the accused persons Adesh and Mohith Agarwal carrying the cash and trying to handing over the cricket betting collection to Suraj.
