Srinagar, Jan 19 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered opium in Srinagar, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
He said a police party arrested two drug peddlers near taxi stand Batmaloo in Srinagar and recovered 34 kgs of opium from their possession.
The drug peddlers were identified as Nazir Ahmad Rather (40 years), residents of Kakroosa Vilgam, Kupwara and Abdul Rashid Dar (33 years), residents of Reban Sopore in Baramulla.
