Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 12 2016 5:57PM Two drowned in strong current of Niranjana riverGaya, Aug 12 (UNI) Two people, including a woman, drowned in Niranjana river near Parkauli bridge under Bodh Gaya police station in the district today when water level of the river suddenly increased due to incessant rains in its catchment area. District Magistrate of Gaya Kumar Ravi said here that a 25-year old youth Chhotu Kumar, a resident of Pacharhattiv village, was swept away by the strong current of the river when he was on his morning stroll. A woman identified as Fulwa Devi was also drowned in the river when she went to the bank of the river for some work.
