Two die as trucks collide in Meerut

Meerut (UP), July 6 (UNI) Two truck drivers were killed when their vehicle collided head-on in Sardhana area of the district on Wednesday.
Police sources said that the accident led to a pile-up of vehicles on the route in which several persons were injured. "While a truck was coming from Raipur and was going to Ghaziabad, the other one was going to Muzaffarnagar from Sikandarabad," they said.
Police sources said that the accident took place on Chaudhary Charan Singh Kanwar road in which both the truck driver Waseem (25) and Anees died at the spot. "The accident led to a pile-up of vehicles in which several persons were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital where the condition of some is stated to be serious," they said.
