Two day long conference on national identity of Indian Nepalese kick starts

Gangtok, Oct 6 (UNI) Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling today attended the inaugural
session of two day long conference on national identity of Indian Nepalese hosted by
Sikkim University here.
On the occasion, he reminded the intellectuals about their responsibility to guide the
younger generation.
The chief minister stressed on the need to create think tanks,changing the mindset of people
and transformation. To take pride in other fields of their expertise instead of always cherishing
their image of Brave Gorkhas.
Mr Chamling felicitated participants.
The intellectuals and others from the community have assembled here to encourage the
younger Nepalese through life of others particularly the eminent achievers.
The eminent persons from different fields included Padamshree Sano Lama,author, Jas Lal
Pradhan Arjuna awardee, Boxer, Marathon Man, Amar Subba and PD Rai (MP) were present
on the occasion.
