Two costly cars stolen in Haryana

Ambala, Nov 23 (UNI) Car lifters are active in Ambala Cantt. Two costly cars were stolen on Sunday. One Innova and one XUV 500 were stolen from two different localities of Lakkar Bazaar and other from Vikaspuri. Innova was stolen when the leading sweetmeat seller Vaivhav Kansal had parked his vehical in front of his residence in the night after attending a marriage on November 20 but next day he found his car stolen at 9.00 in the morning. Vaivhav made complaint to the Home Minister Anil Vij who ordered to the police to take action.
Yet an Innova NH1 was looted from an engineer Bharat Luthra in front of Military Engineer Service. Luthra said that the robbers took away cash worth re 1.07 lakh kept in the car.
In another incident two youth with muffled faces stole Mohindra XUV-500 owned by scientific instruments manufacturer Baljinder Singh from Vikaspuri near Industrial Area on Sunday. He said that he had parked his car in front of the residence as usual. When he came out of his house at 6 in the morning he found his car missing. The CCTV footage showed that two youth had stolen the car. He suspected that the car lock was opened with master key and took away without creating noise of centre locking system.
