Two Cong MPs in the eye of storm for 'threatening' Smriti; LS adjourned

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Lok Sabha on Friday plunged into repeated incidents of pandemonium over the 'misconduct' of Congress lawmakers T N Prathapan and Dean Kuriakose against Union Minister Smriti Irani, leading to the adjournment for the day without transacting any business post lunch.
The BJP members remained adamant for an unconditional apology while some MPs including Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi maintained that if the erring Congress leaders did not apologise, they should be summoned or suspended.
The furore was triggered after Ms Irani countered Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's statement that "While temple was being built for Lord Ram, Sita was being burnt alive".
