Two children drowned in Bihar

Begusarai, Nov 11 (UNI) Two children drowned in Balan river under Mansurchak
police station area in this district today.
Police said here that children met their watery grave in the river when they went
deep into it while taking bath at Ganpataul Ghat. The bodies were fished out from
the river with the assistance of local divers.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Aryan Kumar (13) and
Madhur Kumar Paswan (8).
The bodies had been sent to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Kolkata, Jul 09 (UNI) With Bengal recording 1088 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, the highest so far on a single day today taking the tally to 25,911 and the toll jacking up to 854 with 27 more deaths, the State Government clamped complete shutdown in containment zones and buffer zones from 5 PM on Thursday.

Girls and Boys outshines each others in Meghalaya Board results

Shillong, Jul 9 (UNI) Boys outshined the girls in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Science stream with 77.76 per cent, while the girls outsmart the boys in Commerce with 83.02 pass per cent in the Class 12 board exams, the results of which were declared by the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) on Thursday.
