Two bodies recovered in Bihar

Patna, Aug 23 (UNI) Two bodies were recovered from separate places in Nalanda and Lakhisarai districts today.

According to a report from Rajgir, police recovered the body of a youth from Magadh Colony under Sohsarai police station area in Nalanda district on the receipt of information from local people.

Police said the body bore marks of bullet injuries adding that the deceased had been identified as Ravi Kumar (24), a resident of Purani Sangat Tola.

Police said the motive behind murder was not immediately known. The body had been sent to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

According to a report from Lakhisarai, police recovered the body of a youth near Kasturba School under Kajra police station area in the district.

Police said here that the body was recovered near Kasturba School on Basudeo-Sahmalpur road on the receipt of information from local people. Sources said criminals strangulated the youth to death before dumping his body on the spot.

Police said the deceased was around 26 years of age and his identity was not immediately known. The body had been sent for autopsy.
