Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 12 2016 5:02PM Two bodies recovered as floods create havoc in ChatraChatra, Aug 12 (UNI) At least four people drowned and more than a dozen cattle were washed away due to sudden increase in Leelajan river of this district mainly on the account of heavy rainfall in the last24 hours. Two bodies have been recovered. More than a dozen villages have been submerged and many houses damaged. Due to the strong currents of the river the main bridge connectingJori-Pratppur has collapsed while that linking Huntergunj with Kauleshwari also has been damaged. A team of the district level officials has visited the flood hit-areas and is making assessment of the losses. SP Chatra Anjani Kumar Jha and Chatra SDO Nand Kishore Lal have assured people of full cooperation.
