Twenty-two workers in fields injured as lightning struck them in AP

Kakinada, Jun 3 (UNI) A group of twenty-two agricultural labourers working in fields in Nellipudi village of Sankhavaram Mandal were injured, when lightning struck them before sudden cloud burst on Wednesday.
Of these, four fell unconscious. All of them were rushed to government hospital at Prattipadu where their condition is stated to be out of danger.
The local MLA Parvata Poornachandra Prasad has visited the hospital and enquired the condition of the injured.
He assured them of better medical care for their fast recovery and secure financial assistance from the government.
