Panaji, Nov 28 (UNI) Baris Kaya and Soner Caner, directors of Turkish film 'Rauf', bagged Best Director Award at the 47th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which concluded here today. The award carries a Silver Peacock trophy and cash prize of Rs 15-lakh. Baris was the assistant director on Nefes. He has directed award-winning commercials. Soner has previously worked as an art director and has received the Golden Boll for his work in Nefes. Both the directors thanked IFFI for the award. Rauf is the story of a search under the shade of war and in tough natural conditions. At the age of 11, he finds himself in a big platonic love. In an effort to delight the girl he loves in a world that loses colour in the daylight, he opts for pink.
