Tulasi seeds Chief donates Rs.12 lakh to poor Kapu students

Kakinada, Sept 23 (UNI): Tulasi Seeds Chairman Ramachandra Prabhu has given financial assistance of Rs.12 lakh to the poor students of Kapu community at a function held on Sunday under the aegis of Kapu Udyoga Seva Samithi (KPSS).
Addressing the students, he said that he has also lived in poverty and completed his studies with the help of scholarships. "After completing my studies, I became an industrialist by starting Tulasi Seeds. Since last two decades, Tulasi seeds has provided employment to over 3,000 people and financial aid of Rs.17 crores to the poor students. Out of those beneficiaries, 65 per cent are Kapu students, while 35 per cent belongs to other communities."
Prabu applauded the organiser, Kapu Udyoga Seva Samithi for providing an assistance of Rs. 6 lakhs.
