TTD plans to adopt Iris tech in devotees darshan program

Tirupati, Aug 22 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is planning to adopt Iris techniques along with the biometric technology in the devotees darshan program.
Addressing the IT officials here on Thursday, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal directed IT, officials, to extend the operation of e-office software to enhance the paperless administration in the TTD administration.
He asked IT officials to explore the feasibility of adapting Iris techniques along with biometric technology in the devotees darshan program.
He instructed them to provide online bookings of TTD Kalyana mandapams as part of accommodation bookings, and dashboards In TTD local temples to promote darshan footfalls besides online deposits from rents and leaseholders of TTD properties.
He directed officials to design software applications to provide hassle free admissions in all TTD educational institutions from the next academic year.
He wanted all departments to maintain transparency in their expenses. The TTD engineering department also should in a phased manner put up proposals through e-office from the EE level itself.
The EO also urged the IT department to design demos in all languages to facilitate online registration of Srivari Seva.
Tirumala Special Officer AV Dharma Reddy, Tirupati Joint Executive Officer P Basant Kumar, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Gopinath Jetty, Chief Engineer Ramachandra Reddy, HDPP Secretary Dr Ramana Prasad and others participated.
