TSRTC strike enters 11th day on Tuesday, no respite for commuters

Hyderabad, Oct 15 (UNI) The indefinite strike by the employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) entered the 11th day on Tuesday while the commuters continued to face hardships.

The striking employees intensified their agitation by staging dharnas and taking out rallies with the support and participation of various political parties all over the state.

Police bandobust near depots in the state had been stepped up to prevent any untoward incidents.

A positive move was seen when Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Parliamentary Party leader K Keshava Rao had suggested that the strike should be ended and the employees leaders come forward for talks to sort out the issues.

Responding to it, TSRTC workers Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders said that they were willing to come for talks if the government invited them.
