Washington, Jul 4 (UNI) US President Donald Trump on Saturday ordered the creation of a "National Garden of American Heroes," to defend what he called "our great national story" against those, who vandalise statues.
Giving his executive order to a new task force, Mr Trump gave them 60 days to present their plans in this regard, including a location for the garden, directing them that the new statues must be 'lifelike' and "not abstract or modernist," the BBC reported.
A number of statues, mostly slave owners or traders, have been pulled down in several cities across the US, since the police killed an unarmed black man, George Floyd, in May.
