Trump, Erdogan agree on need to shed light on all aspects of Khashoggi's murder

Ankara, Nov 17 (UNI) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his US counterpart Donald Trump, in a phone call on Saturday, agreed on the need to shed light on all aspects and to prevent a cover-up of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder.
A statement issued by the Turkish Presidency said that Erdogan and Trump discussed bilateral issues, Khashoggi's murder, ongoing investigations into the activities of Fetullah Terrorist Organization in the US, counter-terrorism efforts in Syria and bilateral economic relations.
"The leaders have stressed the importance of close cooperation between Turkey and the United States in the fight against all terrorist organizations," qatar news agency reported citing the statement. The two leaders also welcomed the start of joint patrols by Turkish and the US troops within the framework of the Manbij roadmap in northwestern Syria and addressed the completion of the process without further delay.
