“Finally, on Nov 18 last I have written to the police chief and chief minister narrating the whole details; after which police became active. They launched an investigation and tracked Rajib’s mobile location observing his communication with the family and he was arrested by Tripura police last week,” Ebadul Islam told media.

However, police said with the help of their Chennai counterpart, Rajib was arrested from outskirt busy area of the city. Based on his statement, police later rescued the girl who became the wife of Rajib.
