Tripura to get LPG from Bangladesh

Agartala, Oct 11 (UNI) Bangladesh has agreed to export bottled LPG to Tripura from its excess pool following a request from the Indian government, said a senior official of the state government today.
He said Tripura is getting LPG from Assam at present by road through high terrine and now easily Bangladeshi vehicles with LPG cylinders can reach within a few hours to West Tripura that will help continuous and steady supply in a cost-effective manner.
India has agreed to provide a grant to set up 20 rudders for Bangladeshi Coast Guard in the Bay of Bengal. Moreover, Bangladesh and India, who share one of the longest land borders in the world, have agreed to share real-time intelligence information and involve their common neighbour Myanmar to stop drug trafficking.
