Tripura SWSE dept holds district level awareness camp on reformed norms of social pension; more beneficiaries to be added

Ambassa(Tripura), Oct 01(UNI) Social Welfare and Social Education (SWSE) department of the state government organised a district level awareness camp on reformed norms of social security pension schemes at Kulai Town Hall in the subdivision of Ambassa in northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
The State government recently included 30,000 new beneficiaries into the social pension scheme.
The beneficiaries will be able to avail the pension from January 1, next.

Imphal, Oct 24 (UNI) Six persons died of Covid while in the past twenty-four hours, 233 persons (128M, 105F) from the general population and 12 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases.
