Tripura mulls recruiting special executives in police

Agartala, Aug 15 (UNI) Tripura joined the rest of India in celebrating the nation's 76th Independence Day with a series of colourful events across the state.
Unfurling the tricolour at Assam Rifles ground here, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha highlighted the success of the BJP-led government in the state over the past four and half years.
The government is considering recruiting Special Executives under the home department to strengthen the police force, he stated and said, "The government will give more teeth to the police force besides, filling up posts in the state security forces."
