Tripura moves to implement NCERT syllabus from next year

Agartala, Nov 30 (UNI) Tripura government has already trained up 240 primary level and 200 secondary level teachers as master trainer on the teaching method of National Council of Education, Research and Training (NCERT) syllabus, going to be introduced in the state from coming academic session.
To review the progress and preparation, Chief Minister Biplab Deb along with Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath and Chief Secretary L K Gupta held a high level meeting on ‘introducing NCEART syllabus at schools last night. The Chief Minister directed the department to finish off basic training of the teachers and ensure supply of books and beginning of classes as per the schedule.
According to report, the next phase of training of the primary level teachers would hold between December 3 and 6 and training of secondary level teacher will begin from first week of January. Later on the trained teachers will provide training to rest 40,000 teachers of different levels.
