Tripura may deprive of subsidy share under DEDS

Udaipur, Jan 25 (UNI) In the absence of availability of quality cattle, the state may deprive of its subsidy share under Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (DEDS).
Incidentally, the utilization of subsidy under DEDS during 2018-19 was Rs1.39 crore i.e. 32.10pc, against a budget of Rs 4.32 crore, said the present banking statistics of Tripura.
On a recent review of the progress under DEDS, it was observed that as against the annual subsidy budget of Rs 4.598 crore, the utilization of subsidy against financing made by the banks has remained as meagre as Rs 80.256 lakh i.e.17.45pc.
