Tripura girl set on fire for ransom; mother and son beaten up by violent mob

Agartala, Dec 7 (UNI) A day after encounter of four accused of Hyderabad rape victim, a violent mob severely beaten up a youth and his mother in Agartala Govt Medical College and GBP hospital today after death of a 17-yrs old girls allegedly been kidnapped and finally set on fire last night failing of the family to pay the ransom.

Police however, registered two separate cases in this connection and both the injured mother and son were shifted to hospital under tight security protection. They will be arrested once released from the hospital. The doctors attending them declared out of danger.
