Agartala, May 15 (UNI) Tripura gears up to watch the performance of youngest drummer of India, hailing from a small locality of Agartala, Anshuman Nandi in Saket Choudhury directed Bollywood movie Hindi Medium to be released on May 19 next. The 8 –yrs old Anshuman shared the screen with Bollywood stalwarts like Irfan Khan, Neha Dhupia, Amrita Singh, Sanjay Suri and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in year for past few months for the screen. The movie revolves around a story of middle-class couple who tries to ensure their daughter best education in an English medium school. However, the movie has a northeast connection in the context where youngest drummer – Anshuman Nandi played as a school student Mohan in the movie. Born of a musical family, Anshuman became a ‘name’ when he was only 3 -years old for his amazing talent in reality shows like ‘India’s Got Talent’, SA RE GA MA PA and others. His father Biswajit is a professional drummer and mother Rashmi Nandi is a classical music artist. He had picked up drumsticks in his childhood and started imitating his father by beating the floor. His act was considered as a mere plaything till his father cum trainer realized him playing right rhythm. Anshuman says he is having his acts for 25-30 minutes in the film and had performed through utensils and colour buckets as part of the movie. It was shot in Delhi and Mumbai. UNI BB KK
