Tripura Deputy Chief Minister to inaugurate orange festival

Udaipur, Nov11 (UNI) Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma will inaugurate Baramura Orange Festival 2019 at Twibaklai JB School Ground tomorrow under Uttar Baramura ADC village of Killa R D Block, Gomati District here.
Talking with UNI, Superintendent of Agriculture under Killa area has said that a total of 353 numbers farmer are doing orange production here. There are five ADC villages and these are Dakashin Baramura, Uttar Baramura, Darjeeling Bari, Uttar Brajendra Nagar and Joingbari. The farmers from respected village areas are doing orange production at Killa area.
A total of 165 farmers, all the tribal farmers, are producing orange on their 60 hectors land and the maximum orange production has recorded in Uttar Baramura village area. A total of 101 farmers are producing orange at Dakshin Barmura area, 75 numbers farmers under Darjeeling Bari area, 5 farmers under Uttar Brajendra Nagar area and only 3 farmers from Joingbari area are producing orange.
