Tripura CPM to hold state conference on Nov 25

Agartala, Nov 20 (UNI) Tripura CPI (M) will hold two days 22nd state conference on November 25 next at Town Hall here to discuss the latest political situation of the state and strategy to counter growth of the saffron party besides core political and ideological issues.
According to party leaders, there will be no open rally this time before the commencement of the proceedings of the conference unlike in the past when an open rally used to precede the formal beginning of the state conference.
The dais of the conference will commemorate the departed leaders- late CPI (M) leaders, Khagen Das, Samir Deb Sarkar, Sandhya Debbarma and Khagendra Jamatia- who passed away after 21st state conference. The conference was due early this year but had to be postponed because of assembly election and it was further delayed after CPI (M) lost the election.
