Agartala, Aug 4 (UNI) While Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb is diagnosed Covid-19 negative, two of his family members were tested Covid-19 positive last night, Deb disclosed in an early morning social media post.
In a facebook post, Deb said, “My Covid test results came negative. For next seven days, I will follow home quarantine and other guidelines. Also, I will work from home. I thank beloved people of Tripura for your wishes and prayers. The fight against Covid-19 will continue and together we shall win.”
However, report said CM’s wife Niti Deb and daughter Shreya were tested positive but others including his aged mother and son were negative. Earlier, a security person was found positive a few days ago. Recently, one of Chief Minister’s nieces who had visited the residence was tested positive.
Since the viral load of both the affected persons of CM’s family is minimum and both of them are asymptomatic, they have been sent to home quarantine and entry in CM’s house has been restricted. In a late-night post yesterday Deb informed, “Two of my family members found Covid-19 positive though others in the family were tested negative. I have undergone Covid test result is yet to come.
