Tripura CM rushes to Delhi to bring back officers from central deputation

Agartala, Oct 14 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha met union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman last night during his visit to Delhi to discuss increasing the ceiling for Externally Aided Projects (EAPs), aimed at ensuring the smooth progress of ongoing development initiatives in the state.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss several contentious administrative issues, including the repatriation of All India Service officers currently on deputation to various Central ministries.
Despite having adequate officers in the cadre, the Tripura administration has been facing a critical shortage, which has hampered the implementation of development projects and the effective supervision of administrative functions.
