Tripura CM brands Congress as “Gang of corrupts and dishonests”

Agartala, Mar 20 (UNI) At a time when AICC President Rahul Gandhi was addressing election rally at Khumlung about 20 kms from here, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb addressing a party workers gathering at Pratapgarh charged Congress as “gang of corrupts and dishonests’.
He alleged that Congress and CPI (M) have been together to loot the country and today congress is under the guardianship of CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury. In all previous assembly elections when local congress leaders and workers had ensured the defeat of left front government the top leaders of congress did not allowed it at the last moment.
“At the last moment of campaign in 2013 elections Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Monmohan Singh had cancelled their rally in Tripura just to secure the victory of CPI (M). And it is well known to everyone, otherwise, communist rule could have been ended in Tripura long back. They did power politics at the cost of innocent congress supporters,” Deb alleged.
