Tripura boys shine in International Kyokushin Karate championship

Ambassa(Tripura), Jan 04(UNI) Two boys from northern Tripura district of Dhalai have outshone and grabbed second prizes in respective categories in the International Kyokushin Karate championship held in West Bengal recently.
Both the boys hailed from the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai.
The international Kyokushin Karate was held at the Pritinagar Bhudeb Smriti Vidyapith Compound on December 29 and 30. In the competition players from India, Nepal, South Korea and Bangladesh took part. In the India team nine boys participated in different categories. Among them two boys from this bordering subdivision has grabbed two prizes in second position. Arjun Shil has grabbed second prize in 55 kg category and another class X student Emon Ali has grabbed second position in 65 kg.
