Agartala, Jan 2 (UNI) The BJP Tripura state committee headed by its president and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb held a high level meeting last night with the top leaders of the party including ministers, a few MLAs and functionaries of different wings of the party to review the preparation in view of party national president Amit Shah's visit on January 5.
The meeting has resolved to make an impressive gathering in the rally of page observers (Pristapramukhs) of the party at booth level at Vivekananda Stadium. The meeting has also reviewed the activities of the party at ground level and discussed about the plan of action to accelerate party functioning ahead of upcoming general election.
According to report, Shah is scheduled to attend a slew of meetings with party leaders, ministers and MLA’s separately to have discussions on strategies of two Loksabha seats besides, seeking choice of candidates from the state leaderships.
