Agartala, Sep 26 (UNI) The crucial meeting of BJP Tripura state executive council began today at Khowai district of West Tripura to discuss about issues related to organisational reorientation and enhancing the party activities at grassroot level ahead of upcoming general election in early next year.
Besides top leaders of the party, including the president of state committee and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, party's state in-charge Sunil Deodhar and BJP’s secretary organization of northeast Ajay Jamwal have also taken part in the meeting.
According to BJP sources, the meeting is targeted to discuss the current political situation and to hold brain storming session to counter the growth of opposition parties and to formulate strategies to counter the campaign against the BJP-IPFT alliance.
