Agartala, Dec 3 (UNI) A five members delegation of BJP tribal front of Tripura by party state in-charge Sunil Deodhar today met with union Tribal Welfare minister Juel Oram, Minister of PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, union minister of state for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju at New Delhi demanding central intervention in the state to stop violence allegedly by ruling CPI(M).
The delegates demanded the central ministers about the introduction of State Council according to sixth Schedule of the constitution in Tripura and to ensure direct funding to the present tribal district council until it becomes state council.
They also demanded for land survey and settlement in protect the living of people of tribal community in Tripura.
