This has come up as the acute crisis of petrol and diesel continues due to the damaged Assam-Agartala National Highway at Lowerpowa in South Assam for more than two months following heavy rains and water logging in pre-monsoon. The state is being badly hit by this as over hundreds of vehicles including the two wheelers are being witnessed stranded in almost all the petrol pumps daily.
