Kolkata, Jan 01 (UNI) West Bengal ruling All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee today turned 21 years since its inception on this day in 1998.
" Trinamool turns 21. It has been a long journey with many struggles. We got many opportunities to work 'for the people, of the people and by the people'. As we start New Year, and Trinamool turns 21," Ms Banerjee, Chief Minster and the AITC chairperson, Twitted in her account.
Congratulating the people across the country to mark the occasion, especially the people of the state, who have been supporting the party to grow further in more than past two decades, Ms Banerjee assured that her party would always stand in support of the poor people.
