Trinamool Congress' purple patch continues in Bengal; Wins all four Assembly seats

Kolkata, July 13 (UNI) With Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's unmatched electoral charisma continuing to shine, her Trinamool Congress is on a song in Bengal bypoll, romping home in all the four assembly seats.
The results were declared on Saturday for July 10 byelection in three districts and in this metropolis.
The party not only retained its Maniktala seat, but also wrested three seats of Raiganj, Bagda and Ranaghat South from the saffron brigade.
In central Kolkata's Maniktala, TMC's new horns Supti Pande, widow of former minister Sadhan Pande, won by a whopping 62,116 margin over her nearest BJP candidate and AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey, as the latter vote count was 20,745 after 20 rounds, the ECI said.
The TMC retained the seat.
In Raiganj seat of North Dinajpur, TMC's Krishna Kalyani won by 50,077 votes over his nearest BJP candidate Manas Kumar Ghosh, who got 36,402 votes, and in Bagda in North 24 Parganas, TMC's Madhuparna won by 33,455 votes over her nearest BJP candidate Binay Kumar Biswas, who got 74,251 votes.
Both seats were of BJP, which won in the 2021 assembly poll.
In Ranaghat South of Nadia, TMC candidate Mukut Mani Adhikari won by 39,048 votesotes over Manoj Kumar Biswas of BJP, who got 74,485 votes.
The seat was also wrested by the ruling party.
