Trinamool Congress all set to storm in Tripura

Agartala, July 23 (UNI) After an impressive expansion of party base mainly in bordering sub-divisions and Muslim populated areas of Tripura, Trinamool Congress has now begun it’s strategic interface to formally launch the party with some important political personalities, MLAs and intellectuals, said Trinamool state president Ashis Lal Singh here on Saturday.
He said that the top leaders of the party have been working to hit back the ruling BJP in the state, as over a lakh of strong BJP sand CPI-M supporters have already joined in Trinamool because of the misrule of BJP in the state for last 41 months under the leadership of Biplab Kumar Deb.
“After Dasharath Deb (Debbarma), Tripura has not got any tribal chief minister in the last 30 years even though one-third of the total assembly seats are represented by indigenous population. Both CPI-M and BJP are using tribal vote banks for capturing power without giving them due credit but TMC wants to break this tradition in 2023 elections,” Singha said.
