Tribal mother and son pass Higher Secondary

Ambassa (Tripura), Jun 07(UNI) In a show of indomitable spirit and determination, a tribal mother passed the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Tripura 12th examination with her son in the bordering subdivision of Gandacharra in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai.

The result for this year's Higher Secondary examination of TBSE Humanities and Commerce streams was published yesterday.

Shyamali Devi Chakma passed the examination with her son Gunamoy Chakma. While Shyamali Devi scored 162 out of 500, Gunamoy scored 414 securing 82.8 per cent marks.

The Member of Parliament (MP) from East Tripura, Rebati Tripura hailed the success and urged the others to be motivated by it.
