Hyderabad, Dec 11 (UNI) The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has established leads in 88 of the 119 Assembly constituencies in the state, elections for which were held on December 7.
In the first two hours of counting of votes, which was taken up on Tuesday, TRS was ahead of its rivals in 88 constituencies,while Congress was leading in 16, followed by Majlis in 5, BJP in 4, TDP in one and others in 3 constituencies.
However, the first few rounds of counting indicate that TRS chief and CM K Chandrashekhar Rao (popularly known as KCR) is heading for a massive victory from Gajwel Assembly segment against his rival Congress-led People's front candidate V Pratap Reddy.
Minister KT Rama Rao, son of KCR and Minister Harish Rao, nephew of KCR, were also leading from Sircilla and Siddipet Assembly constituencies, respectively.
