TREDA hails Dharani portal, TS-bPass

Hyderabad, Nov 21 (UNI) Telangana Real Estate Developers’ Association (TREDA) on Saturday said that innovative policies and reforms like Dharani Portal and TS-bPass adopted by the Telangana government, would not only streamline the system but would also set a progressive track for the real estate sector in the state.
The two policies would revolutionise the Real Estate Ecosystem in the state and the price may not go up, Association president R.Chalapathi Rao said in a press conference held virtually here.
Hailing the policies, he said that we are expected to get more and more investments in the real estate sector due to the new policies of the government.
Despite COVID-19 pandemic that has adversely impacted the overall economy, Hyderabad Real Estate Sector has bounced back strongly and is all set to be on a growth path, he said Hyderabad has always been a front runner and witnessed impressive real estate growth, as compared to other key markets in India, the credibility for upliftment of the real estate sector largely goes to the Telangana Government, he claimed.
“Telangana Government’s focus on sustainability and transparency clubbed with investment-friendly policies that drew the attention of multinational companies into the State, has only led to a major economic growth in the last few years” he said.
Registrations through Dharani Portal will bring high transparency in the entire property transactions thus, eliminating loopholes and ensuring zero tampering of land records, he said through this portal, that every property would get one ID.
The benefits of the portal that comes in the form of real time updating of textual records, maps and settlement operations, will help in the form of a comprehensive title to land owners after completing land digital survey and recording land parcels with coordinates, he said.
Telangana State Building Permission Approval and Self Certification System (TS-bPASS) – Setting a new benchmark in the system, the Government of Telangana has come up with a remarkable single window reform process that facilitates easy permits for construction activities, the President said.
The integrated platform that offers a simple, safe and digital mode of transactions - from processing of various permissions required during development of land to construction of buildings through self-certification systems to managing the entire process within the stipulated timelines, will really boost the real estate sector, he informed.
Through this, unauthorized constructions would be prevented and the city would become free from unauthorised constructions, he added.
