Trapped wild bear rescued and released in deep forest

Balasore, Nov 9 (UNI) Wildlife officials today rescued a wild bear trapped by the poachers in a reserve forest near Kothagocchi village and later released the wild animal in the deep forest of Kuldiha sanctuary.
The bear was found roaring after getting entangled in a trap laid by the suspected poachers. The local residents informed the forest officials and the wildlife officials of Nilgiri division with the help of expert tranquilizers rescued the animal from the trap.
The tranquilization was carried out under the supervision of Dr Piyush Soren and Dr Hamid and the wild bear was rescued from the trap.
