New Delhi, Dec 2 (UNI) Extending all support to the farmer's agitation, the transporters body All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) has warned that it will be suspending its operations across northern region in cae the government does not attend to farmers concerns and demands.
'AIMTC has extended its support to the farmer agitation from day one .We are again convening our core committee meeting and will decide on stopping our operations strategically starting from Delhi, then North India and if the Govt does not address the issue of the farmers then we may decide to go for shutting down of transport operations nationwide in their support,' said AIMTC in an official statement released here.
AIMTC president Kultaran SIngh Atwal in the statement has said that the government must treat the farmers with dignity and allay their apprehensions on the farm Acts.
