Trailer, Character posters of prison escape film ‘Lucknow Central’ released

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) The makers of ‘Lucknow Central’, a prison escape movie featuring Farhan Akhtar and Diana Penty, today released the trailer of the film and character posters featuring its lead actors.
Slated for release on September 15, ‘Lucknow Central’ tells the story of an underdog singer Kishan Mohan Girhotra (Farhan Akhtar), who's framed in a murder case. Kishan forms a music band in the Lucknow Central Jail and plots an escape plan.
The trailer shows how Kishan Mohan Girhotra, a man who hails from Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, dreams of having his own music band but lands up in the Lucknow Central jail.
When he comes across a NGO worker Gayatri Kashyap (Diana Penty), who wants to form a band of prisoners for a band competition that will be held in the jail, Kishan devises a plan to escape. At the end, he is left to choose between his dreams and freedom.
Produced by Nikkhil Advani and directed by Ranjit, “lucknow central’ features Farhan Akhtar and Diana Penty in lead roles.
The film also has Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy and Ravi Kissen in lkey roles.
The makers of ‘Lucknow Central’ also unveiled two character posters posters of the film, featuring Farhan and Diana Penty, ahead of the trailer release.
