TRAI extends deadline for public comments on draft broadcasting and cable interconnection rules

New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the last date of submission of written comments on its draft Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Interconnection (Addressable Systems) (Seventh Amendment) Regulations, 2025 to October 14, an official statement said today.
The extension of the date is due to the requests of some stakeholders.
The statement said, “Keeping in view the requests of some of the stakeholders for an extension of time for submission of comments, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments up to October 14. No further requests for extension would be considered.”
Earlier, TRAI issued draft Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Interconnection (Addressable Systems) (Seventh Amendment) Regulations, 2025 on September 22 for seeking comments from stakeholders till October 6.
