TPCC urges SEC to take action against Minister for violating MCC during Municipal election campaign

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (UNI) Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) on Sunday urged the State Election Commission (SEC) to take action immediately against State Minister for Panchayati Raj, Errabelli Dayakar Rao for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the Municipal Election campaign at Mahbubabad district.
In a letter addressed to State Election Commission Commissioner V Nagi Reddy, TPCC official spokesperson G Niranjan, who is also the Convener of Election Commission Coordination Committee, said the Minister, while speaking in an election meeting held at Thorrur on Saturday threatened the voters of dire consequences if they do not vote for TRS and he (Minister) can know whom they voted for.
Mr Rao further said that there will be no use if they feel later for their mistake and hence they should vote for TRS and added he (Minister) will be in power for four more years, the Congress leader said in the letter.
