Tourism can play important role to make India a super power in the world : Rajnath

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said tourism can play an important role to make India a super power in the world then and called for collective efforts to increase share of tourism in our GDP.
''If we want to make India a super power in the world then tourism can play an important role. We should collectively try for increase of share of tourism in our GDP,'' Mr Singh said after inaugurating the “Paryatan Parv-Grand Finale” at the Rajpath Lawns.
Speaking at the event, presided over by K J Alphons, Minister of State (Independent charge) for Tourism , Mr Singh said that India is a country of unity in diversity whether it is in the field of art or music or traditions or costumes etc.
